Mr. Garrod's practice primarily focuses on matters involving personal injury, construction defect, professional malpractice, product liability and toxic tort.  In addition, he has handled insurance coverage and business litigation matters including contract and shareholder disputes.

Mr. Garrod has successfully tried cases to conclusion and defended clients at binding arbitration.  Mr. Garrod has appeared in both state and federal courts including the Appellate Division and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. 

In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Garrod has counseled clients in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with a focus on defense, indemnification and additional insured provisions.

Mr. Garrod has lectured on a variety of legal issues including bad faith claims against insurance companies and additional insured provisions in insurance policies. 

Mr. Garrod was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the District Fee Arbitration Committee, District XIII.
